Lucid Air vs Gravity real-world efficiency
Wh/mi from actual owner trips over the last 90 days, elevation-adjusted, across the LucidTracker fleet.
| Model line | Vehicles | Trips | Miles | Raw Wh/mi | Adjusted Wh/mi | Median vehicle Wh/mi |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Air | 42 | 5,589 | 88,264 | 284 | 280 | 284 |
| Gravity | 49 | 6,726 | 109,933 | 346 | 345 | 350 |
Methodology
Trips are included when they cover at least 2 miles with measured energy use, no charging stop mid-trip, and a raw efficiency between 160 and 1,200 Wh/mi (outside that band the trip is treated as a data error).
Adjusted Wh/mi = (energy − 2.1 Wh × net elevation change in ft) ÷ distance, the same correction used on the LucidTracker+ leaderboard. The fleet figure is mileage-weighted; the median-vehicle figure is the median of each vehicle's own adjusted efficiency.
A model line is shown only when at least 5 vehicles qualify.
Frequently asked
What is a good Wh/mi for a Lucid?
Lucid Air owners typically see the low-to-mid 200s Wh/mi in mixed driving; the larger Gravity SUV runs higher. The table above shows the current fleet medians from real trips.
Why adjust efficiency for elevation?
A trip that descends 3,000 ft can post an impossibly good Wh/mi, and a climb an impossibly bad one. Crediting climbs and debiting descents at 2.1 Wh per foot makes trips comparable.
Why do these numbers differ from the EPA rating?
EPA figures come from a standardized dynamometer cycle. These are real trips with real weather, speeds, terrain and climate control, averaged across many owners.
LucidTracker is a free companion app for Lucid Air and Gravity owners: trips, charge sessions, battery health and OTA rollouts, synced from your car. LucidTracker+ adds 1-minute sync, GPS trip playback and charge-session analytics.
